Character meme- ATLA

Before going on my vacation of bought this lovely book, the Art of Avatar: the Last Airbender. The show of course!
It inspired me to create this Airbender girl, who I drew throughout my vacation. She has no name yet, but it really doesn't matter.

Her father was an air nomad, her mother however was a member of the water tribe. For the first year of her life she lived with her mother in the water nation. Until her bending abilities manifested and she was taken by her father to train at the Eastern Air Temple. She lives for most of her life with the nuns, mastering air bending, all the while unaware they she had been ripped away from her mother. After receiving her tattoos, the nuns told her about her mother, and she left the temple to search for her. She spent several years traveling the world, eventually making it to the Northern Water Tribe. She was afraid her mother wouldn't want her, or had died in their years apart. She reunited with her mother and was welcomed into her tribe with open arms... this all takes place some time before Aang was frozen I guess...
Let no one make a fuss that she's nearly nude in the second panel. She's getting her tattoos and has shaved her head.
There's more to it than that but since I'll never use her character it was just a fun exercise.
